INTRODUCTION

Paul is interested in educational technology, curriculum design and online education.
He works for the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as Education Manager.
His role is to support teachers in improving teaching and learning, as well as introducing technology for teaching purposes.

Our neighbourhood

Paul is currently doing a Masters in Online Learning (USQ) as well as teaching online and in the classroom.
He enjoys being outdoors, on the water and out walking. His interests include photography, sailing, writing, good wine and Thai food. Paul is originally from England, and lives on a houseboat in Aberdeen (Hong Kong) with his wife, daughter and cat.

His wife runs a small hotel in Phuket, Thailand, so they regularly travel between Thailand and Hong Kong.

Other issues
Facilitation strategy
I will be testing out some of the ideas with academic colleagues this semester, and will include ideas we generate and links to samples of work in KG. I will flag up useful ideas in the forums and blog, and link to other people's pages if appropriate.

Problems
I got started late with this project and may have some problems catching up and getting inputs and comments from others.

Other
I would like to make the page more THEORY+PRACTICE+REFLECTION in order to provide a link between theory and actual doing.
