Fair use is a doctrine in United States copyright law that allows limited use of copyrighted material without requiring permission from the rights holders, such as use for scholarship or review. This document provides information about the application of the Fair Use in education. Student and Teachers are often confused by what is permissible on the internet. We hope to provide some clear guidelines.
